Metal screen filters, with single cartridge, are designed for agriclutural use as safety filtration for the removal of inorganic particles in small quantities and as a secondary filter to media filters to prevent irrigation system from clogging. Not recommended for the removal of heavy loads of inorganic and organic particles.
Metal screen filters are interchangeable, and has several filtration grades (just changing the cartridge) and are equipped with manual bleed valve. Standard filtration grade 120 mesh. Built in corrosion resistant meterial.
Characteristics:
- painted series: body is built with sections of steel pipes vertically welded (DIN 2458), 4 mm thick steel sheet (st 37-2 DIN 17100). Surface is treated using sanding and chemical treatment (oxydant acid). Epoxy painting. Hard PVC cartridge. Screen in stainless steel AISI 304. Supplied with purge valve and monometers.
- zinc-coated series: built with hot dip galvanized steel. Screen is made of polyester and cartridge is of stainless steel AISI 304. Filtrating element is of easy maintenance, it can be extraxted and washed for accurate cleaning. Available connections are: ball and socket joint, threaded connection, flange connection. Standard filtrating grade 120 mesh. Supplied with purge valve and manometers.
